Ahhh- but who is the oldest among us :?: Best way to bring those WS to heel is to decline any invitations from WS Chalet Members for their Piste Blast arounds with a preference to just 'Potter' about at your own pace and then when you see them below you on the hill procede to come at them hard and fast, Using them as human slalom poles and leaving them waaayy behind, eating your snow.lol Sorted |

If Snow conditions are soft/Fresh/Crud/Sugar or if i'm on stuff that feels like i'm skiing over a field of broken bricks then my 177cm Salomon X Wing Fury's (All Mountain) skis cope quite well.

Many 'Mature' 2 plank skiers who have dodgy knees due to accident or arthritus have resurected their skiing hobby by taking up Mono skiing.
The lateral forces are shared by both legs as one unit as both knees are together all the time. Resorts with a minimum of Surface lifts such as Obergurgl or les Arcs are preferable as riding a poma tow with a monoski is awkward to say the least. Monoskis have come a long way in their design since the Pintails of the mid 1980's and are enjoying an emerging renaisance on the slopes. |

Got vibes that the white stuff will be with us on the UK hills from around the 21st Jan onwards.

I was the first in the UK to buy one from Coda (When it was known as a Yamatool back in 2007) and i love it. I also have a 187cm Duret 'Mountain' and 2 'Pintails' in my Monoski Quiver. |
