Camping in The Dolomites
Started by User in Italy, 10 Replies
Hi I was in Arraba for half term the last two years and travelled over this campsite on the lift, it was always a busy campsite but never completely full, I would not like the idea of not being able to pre book a berth, always in the back of my mind what do I do if its full, maybe I'm to risk adverse.
Would be a great location and base to explore the dolomites.
Advice on Cervinia,please

Two ways up from the village from what I remember, the gondola on the far right of the village up lots of steps to the station great warm up with your boots on! The other is a couple of chairs up. Sure there are accommodations next to both but if you are in the centre of the village you could be in no mans land. If you look at a piste map you can understand what I mean. Going there in April so a holiday report would be great

Its snowing in Newcastle.
In one respect very excited, another is its lying on the ground which means as we had zero gritters driving is going to be fun tomorrow! An inch of snow and the city will grind to a halt! Makes me chuckle every time we have snow its as if we have had a natural disaster

blackpool-skier wrote:You should buy something like this which has a split level design - boots in the bottom section and clothes in the top. It's a roller so you won't feel the weight as much as a rucksack! :D

I just wish it was simpler, every year struggle to balance cover versus cost, and value for money against too good to be true.
You never know what a company is like until it goes wrong and then its too late if the cover not adequate.
You can use big companies and they can be worse than little ones.
Guess too lazy to go through lots of policies small print to get all the information and make the best decision.
Would love somebody just to say, buy that one!

Also there is a VERY tenuous link to skiing in this image.....10 wibble points to the member that gets it.

Firstly good luck for your interview, and think the tenuous link is the safari icon. I think you can view piste maps on it.
Probably wrong
Late Booking...is it worth it?

Which airport would you be flying from and how many in your party? If its a London one and a small group, maybe.
If its a regional one and a big group I would book asap.
Late deals work normally by being as flexible as possible, big group fixed dates don't normally work.
Welcome!:-)
