Plan to fly into Geneva from Dublin on Dec 4th for a 4 day Skiing weekend.
Will probably hire a car, Would like to remain reasonably close to Airport. Chamonix for obvious reasons ticks many of the boxes, Hotel prices seem very reasonable!Why??? Would appreciate helpful comments regarding alternative resorts. Planning this trip is literally keeping my wife and I sane. |

I'm hoping to head to Geneva on Jan.9th 2015 for five nights. I would like to ski approx. 1.5 hrs drive from Geneva. I'm looking at La Thuile and Courmayeur, the skiing looks good in La Thuile but the night life doesn't look great.
Any advice or recommendations. thank you |

My wife and I have skied many times in Austria and France. We really likes Austria. We are intermediate skiers and are looking at Livigno, Northern Italy.
We usually fly from Cork to Munich. Livigno is a four hour drive from Munich. We are planning spending a week there. Is there enough to do there to justify spending a full week there? Any tips appreciated. thanks in advance. |

went to Hintertux Glacier on April 2nd 2013, Skied for 3 days. it was great. Thanks |

We have been to Kaprun several times & love it, the car drive up to the glacier is not ideal as we like to have a few alcohol beverages during the day. In Kaprun, Resturant 'hamburger Biesl' & also 'Dorfgrug' are excellent. Hotel Kaprunerhof is great. For our next trip our minds are not yet made up. Snow condition, accomodation availability & commute time will determine. Thank you for your comment Millstreet |

My wife & I are flying to Munich airport on Tuesday 2nd April, for 4 days, Car rented. We were in Ischgl week 1 Dec & Mayrhofen week 1 february. We are considering Livigno Italy (v long drive)or St Anton Austria. Where do you recommend in Austria for good snow/skiing this time of year??? regards Millstreet |
