Livigno Late November 2013
Started by User in Ski Chatter, 6 Replies
My wife and I have skied many times in Austria and France. We really likes Austria. We are intermediate skiers and are looking at Livigno, Northern Italy.
We usually fly from Cork to Munich. Livigno is a four hour drive from Munich.
We are planning spending a week there. Is there enough to do there to justify spending a full week there? Any tips appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Dave,
We have been to Kaprun several times & love it,
the car drive up to the glacier is not ideal as we like to have a few alcohol beverages during the day.
In Kaprun, Resturant 'hamburger Biesl' & also 'Dorfgrug' are excellent.
Hotel Kaprunerhof is great.

For our next trip our minds are not yet made up.
Snow condition, accomodation availability & commute time will determine.

Thank you for your comment

Andy, (great photos).
My wife & I are flying to Munich airport on Tuesday 2nd April, for 4 days, Car rented.
We were in Ischgl week 1 Dec & Mayrhofen week 1 february.
We are considering Livigno Italy (v long drive)or St Anton Austria.
Where do you recommend in Austria for good snow/skiing this time of year???
