Just to lighten the load, I've just had to look up what country I'm skiing in next year as I didn't pay enough attention when Bald Eagleman was booking it!

Who knew La Thule (I have also been
Pronouncing it la Thool) was in Italy
Alpe D Huez Lift Pass

Thanks for the responses. Pity about SC as I thought it would be a chance to have a little look at somewhere I haven't been. Oh well hopefully ADH will give me plenty to go at for 6 days and if not I can always have a day at L2A. Thanks again.
Alpe D Huez Lift Pass

Hi, Having broken my own rule not to look at webcams or to start dreaming of the hills before 1st December, I have now spent the entire morning doing nothing but thinking of skiing, updating computer cover photos (snowy mountains)and viewing online piste maps.

My question relates to my ski holiday to Alpe D'huez at end of Jan. The lift pass offers days skiing at various resorts and I'm wondering whether to spend the 6 days in Alpe D'Huez or take a day to ski Serre Chevalier and a day to look at L2A. I have skied L2A for a week before and have had a day in Alpe D'Huez but never visited Serre Chevalier.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)
Hey Billip1. My understanding was there is still one twin room left. I had been hoping that a couple of pals of mine would take it but "she who must be obeyed (not my one)" said NO so I guess they wont be coming :)
Driving from Nice to Isola 2000

Hi there, skied Isola a few years back, really nice little resort for skiing, nothing post ski but a really good cheaper option. Are you aware the transfer bus from Nice only costs about 5 euros return?

Wow Snapzz must be one lucky dude if his average snow whilst skiing is like we had in Folgarida this year. Make sure you let me know where you're skiing next season pal and I'll look to book the same resort ;)
Footbeds for hire boots?

Hi guys thanks for the further comments. I guess the consensus is I need to buy a pair of boots! If only my good lady saw things that way however after bargaining the weeks holiday away from her and kids, the £700 cost of the holiday a few hundred more on après ski and slope side lunches I think if I announce I'm spending a further £400-£500 on a pair of boots it could be the divorce courts for me :(
I'd reiterate what Felthorpe said. I think there's approx 20 J2skiers so far signed up, including myself and I don't know any of them :) so you wouldn't need to worry about everyone else knowing each other. Certainly worth considering
