We never used to have a problem with theft in New Zealand but with growing popularity it is getting worse. security cameras are becoming more widely used at ski resorts here and there are full time security guards on duty on some hills now. damn shame that people have to ruin such a good thing!!

Hey guys. I was born in Queenstown! great place to ski! Queenstown is located on the in otago in the southern half of the south island of new Zealand. getting accommodation in Queenstown is easy and there are two mountains very close to town called coronet peak and the Remarkables. Both mountains have a wide range of trails for all levels of skiers. for advanced skiers there are also many heli-skiing companies working out of Queenstown. Queenstown is also only a 45 min drive from Wanaka which has three ski fields. Cardrona (home of the southern hemispheres biggest half pipe) treble cone and snow park ( a huge park for free skiers and snowboarders. Queenstown also has a lot of great tourist attractions so is defiantly worth a visit!!!
