Can anyone recomend where to get boot alignmetn done?
I went to Profeet in Fulham a couple of years ago to get new boots but stuck with my old ones as they were far more comfortable than anything they could offer me. I did come away with molded insoles but being a bit knock kneed I bet with boot alignment I would ski even better! |

Sounds like you had a really good instructor.
It is a beautiful area. Just north of Arrabba, still on the Sella Ronda, is Corvara which has loads of wide blue runs which I imagine would be a good area for beginners. |

Snapzzz
I just pressumed it was very very fine snow and as I said it was sunny but I just pressumed, again that there were some clouds up there somewhere. But isn't a snowflake just rather pretty frozen water molecules? Anyway, I definately saw sparkly stuff in my back garden when it sure was cold! |

Kicking bindings?
I thought this post was going to be all about seeing if your bindings will release your boots in a fall! But I find I'm ruinning my bindings by clearing the snow from my boots with them and ruinning my skis by using them to get out of my bindings. Ah well ~ I do at least know I'm holding my poles right. |

Giong back to this sparkly stuff if you don't mind ~ A friend described having seen it in ADH and lo' and behold I had it in my back garden the next day.
Very fine snow and a bit of sun. Beautiful. |

Some lovely skiing at Montgenevre. On the north side of the road a good fun boardercross and at the end of it, across the piste is a natural pipe which is a real hoot.
On the south side of the road there is some unusualy great skiing for beginners, top to bottom. I have found taxis quite reasonable and would suggest, to get a good days skiing, maybe skiing over to Sauze and getting a taxi back after a few beers at the end of the day. Get a quote and book it before you go. Serre Che is a good suggestion but you can't ski there from Montgenevre the you can see it. |

I often see crosses at the tops of mountains.

When you've had a fresh dump of snow with flat light which has emptied the mountain and you've had the slopes to yourselves and a right blissful hoot!
