Is your handset unlocked? You can get different sim cards that are cheaper international calls.

Do you have a smartphone? If so there is an app for significantly cheaper calls

Or, get to an internet cafe it pub with WiFi and hook up Skype or webcam

T-mobile, i rang them today and they couldnt do anything for me really...customer service for you eh ?

Im sure there is a unlocked handset around the house i can take with me as i will simply be using it for calls and texts, things like Facebook, e-mails i can simply go to a internet cafe.

And yes i do have a smart phone, i have a Blackberry Tourch, if you could find that app that would be usful !

Hey guys,

In Jan i will be going to Verbier for 10 weeks  !! However, being away for a long time i will need to keep in contact with home and friends etc. I rang my network provider and it seems they cannot do anything for me as im stuck in a bloody contract !

Does/has anyone been away for a long time and used a phone and knows whats the best option for me ?

Cheers,
Gum.

Hi mate,

In a similar situation myself, going on a instructor course in Jan (Can not wait !) and iv been looking into some all-mountain skis and after abit of homework iv decided to get the Salomon twenty twelves, they came out as the best all mountain ski according to Freeskier magazine - American ski mag. Iv found a site which is doing an amazing deal on them at the moment with bindings !

http://www.sailandski.co.uk/acatalog/Salomon_Twenty_Twelve_Skis___Z12_Bindings_2012.html

Hope that helps.
Hi guys,

Im currently looking for a one way flight to Geneva and transfers to Verbier in Jan and im having abit of trouble finding a good deal.

Do you guys know any good (CHEAP!!) airlines that offer a affordable service e.g. ski equipment carrage ?

Cheers.

AllyG wrote:I think there is a spelling mistake somewhere - it should be Grandes Rousses, because big is an adjective which has to agree with the noun, which is plural. And I also think, (although I'm not sure) that the 'd' in 'grandes' should be pronounced because it has the 'e' because Rousses is feminine as well as plural.

Rousses is a place, is it not, or else 'big red' doesn't make much sense.

Best of luck with the job :D

Ally

Yeah my mistake, it is Grandes Rousses.

Thanks for the help guys, ill guess ill just have to judge by their faces whether i pronounced it right haha
