Great choice of skiing especially with a car. Day trip to steamboat starts with cruise and breakfast, day skiing, then drinks party on boat back. Oh yes, half the village is in California so quiet bars and live music; the other half is in Nevada so Casinos, restraunts, clubs, the lot. Good and Cheap. Fly in via Chicago and have a night there |

I ruptured ACL in both knees a few years back and had 2 reconstructions. I ski blacks now but moguls are not fun. I ski in neoprene braces with plastic hinges but this is to remind me I am not 100%. I also take my donjoy brace(it just fits under ski trousers) but I never needed to use it. I reckon I could still ski easy runs to bars with it on if I had a small sprain.
Be brave but be sure it is strong. |

Hi all,
First posting so here goes. We fly to Vaujany on Sunday and the weather looks pretty good. Any recommendations for good runs for blacks without moguls? How about good food on the piste. I hear night life is limited but we are staying in Rissiou which has a bar; any others to try. Thanks Adam :?: |
