Well, it's an early arrival for the snow here in Borovets with temps dropping dramaticly. Saturday the 10th Nov brought our first real significant snow fall of 17cm. This was in the resort which is at 1350m, and as the runs start from this height, plenty more has fallen above. Monday the 12th came with another 8cm falling and there is more "forecasted" towards the end of this week. If current temps continue???, we are off to a good start to creating a base.
New snow cannons have been installed over the summer on the higher runs (2600m)to enable an earlier start and a later finish to the ski season. Happy skiing :lol: |

Hello Boardnow,
I was thinking of Fernie for a weeks skiing, never been to Canada before, can you tell me what the skiing would be like in Mid March early April ?. I don't really want to go all that way to find out the snow conditions at that time of the season is not terribly good. Any local info would be great. Fiona |
