just reminded me, at beginning of week the rooms were not ready for three hours, we were told to take cases into store room, where a gentleman took 8euro from us to store them, yes unscrupulous does come to mind, this was not a deposit. |

Hi
Micric- My friends card was swiped at beginning of hols at reception desk, If I understand correctly nothing was taken from account at that stage, they just had card details. The assumption being that if anything was wrong with room at end of stay, they would take some of deposit etc. We also had to do the same with ski hire. Broom- We are going to ask for so called problems to be Itemised. Rose R- We managed to kick the habit years ago, so no smokers. Thanks for replies. |

Hi everyone,
Advice please, just came back from Flaine yesterday, my friends who booked the holiday have just recieved an e-mail from the apartments saying that they have took 60 euro from the 200 euro deposit, the reason for this as they state "Because the cleaning was not ok" We left the apartment very tidy (as we found it), hoovered, put dishes away, nothing broken etc, left unopened bottles and food that was left over on Kitchen worktop. What a bummer after a great holiday. John. |

Hi
Our group have been discussing lift pass prices for Flaine, to book with our operator Neilson the price is £159 for area pass,(I think thats quite good) Flaine website says £182 after converting. Question, is it worth waiting till we arrive at resort and look around for a good deal? (which could take time!) We go end of Feb. Ps this also applies to ski rental etc. |

Again Thanks I think Flaine has our vote.

Hi
Have narrowed our holiday choice down to Flaine or Morzine/Les Gets. We have never done sc apartments before, (usually HB in Austria) question is what are prices like? for example, food for breakfast in apartment, mid morning drink, lunch time snack, couple of drinks after ski and then main evening meal, either diy or going out. We are a group of intermediates and some beginners who have skied for two years, advice on area lift passes and prices would be welcome also. Thanks |
