First day was like this!!
My mate Andy and my sister Kay The rest it was like this. 
The village of Maria Alm 
Top of a small black run above the village 
My favourite black run on Aberg near Maria Alm The area above the village contains a small ammount of runs 1 little black, 2 reds, 2 blues and a ski school. You can reach the nearby Aberg mountain by skiing down a red or catching a bus which run every 15 mins. You can also catch the shuttle bus to Hintermoos or Hinterthal from Maria Alm which links to Aberg via some great reds. Once at any of these three areas the only way back is by the shuttle. Snow was fantastic in the mornings but got slushy near the bottom. All the more reason to stay on the steeper slopes higher up. :) |

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!
I couldn't get anyone to go with, but had finally got it sorted: Flights from Manchester, accomodation, breakfast and evening meal.....£129 Lift pass, skis and boot hire.....£223 Late booking fee.....£15 Single Supplement.....£70 Total.....£437 AND I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE PARTY I WAS GOING TO MEET UP WITH FLY OUT ON THE 31st!! Back to the drawing board. |

I don't own my own gear so including ski pass, ski/boot hire and late booking charge it's looking like £437.....providing I can talk someone else into going, as the price is based on two sharing.

Just got back from a fantastic trip to Austria and I feel the urge to get straight back to the Alps. I have friends going to Montgenevre next week and I am looking to meet up with them there.....but on a complete shoestring budget.
Any tips on flights, accomodation, ski hire and ski passes would be appreciated. Thanks. |
