I know there is also a Club Med at the same place.
There is a lift (the grizzly) just couple of metres away from both of them and a nice english bar Mont Blanc. You can also walk to a lots of shop and restaurant a bit further down, so no car, no problem.

We expect some snow on thursday and temperatures already dropped a bit since last 2 days. Not frezzing but cold enough for snow canons at night time.
Still below 1500m it's not very good but if you choose a high resort you should be fine as most of them have a glacier and the snow on top (2000-3000m) it's very good, better than you have in mind, probably. High resorts also have good beginner slopes.

Hi, the last 4 or 5 years april has had one of the best snow of the season, so you should be ok. Due to unusual weather this year, it's hard to say, but we should have a late winter, so april should be fine. You have to search for high resorts though (Tignes, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs...).

If you've booked your train to Bourg Saint Maurice, and if you don't want hours of driving, you've got Tignes, Val d'Isere, La Rosiere, Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry or La Plagne.
There is a nice hotel or appartement in vallandry with spa it's MGM complex, I don't know their website but should be easy to find, it's called aswell l'Oree des Cimes.

It's not great food or great accommodation, but it's cheap and in the middle of the village of Les Brevieres in Tignes.
It fits well what you're after. Great nights party in the village and young snowboarders ambiance.

Good ski bus and free shuttle all day and night so no problem.
Tignes Le Lac is more lively than Val claret during the day, but Val claret is more for the night.... in my opinion.

Conditions are good and more snow is expected on friday. The problem is it's a bit too warm. Looks more like spring skiing, which is good for sun tan !
But the skiing in Tignes or Val d'Isere is great, it's a high resort so there is no real problem with the snow.
