Tony do not think you will have any trouble on that rd in 05/06
there was heaps of snow and had no probllems in a rear wheel drive, which did have winter tyres, even used the top road over to Hopgarten Soll after a snowfall with no problems. Goff |

Thanks Mike to much light pollution in Kent where we are to see owt but the moon. Have entered our co-ordinates in The Jura, as we intend to do nightime xcountry.

I wish has been clear and cold all week so was goning to look ,last night cloud and driving rain and still is :(.reminds of time when Hale bop comet came round spent a week in Kent looking at smudge,next week in the Alps looked like you could have reached up and grabbed it.

And to back up its that time of year,from the Suisse weather service.Outlook Alps On Wednesday and Thursday unstable and frequently wet. In the north snow line sinking slowly to 500/700 meters. Huge amounts of fresh snow on the mountains. Friday and Saturay are changeable with precipitation above all in the south and slowly rising temperature and snowline. Goff |
