My ski stuff - skis, boots, goggles, gloves, hat - never arrived at Sofia airport. Rep from the holiday company said stuff will arrive Monday as the baggage was left in Manchester.
Monday no skis or equipment, Tuesday rep said I will get the skis Wednesday, finally the equipment was in my room when I got back from town on Thursday So two thirds of my holiday was ruined plus four days of lost pre paid ski lift pass. Now I am looking for compensation but from who. The airline has offered me $60, I can claim insurance of £350, so do I claim this or do i try and claim from the holiday company? |

According to the BBC skiing forecast, Bulgaria SHOULD get a covering end of next week. The snow that is shown on J2ski, snow-forecast was shown as rain on their map

Back to the original topic, sorry
Wouldn't a GPS meant for hiking be suitable? They show the distance walked between points, walked/skied? |

Yes great story truth is the farmer who owns the field in in dispute over money. There used to be a great ski run that started above zakopane in a lovely little village and end up near the market but that too got shut because the land owners wanted something like a million pounds in rent Getting to Zakopane is a pain too and you really need to hire a car - watch out for Sixt - not only to get their but to get around Not very cheap any more + side, its so beautiful and the food and restaurants are great |

That sounds OK to me, especially considering the weak pound
Last year I paid around £270 for 6 day pass and ski school, did not think much of the ski school |
