Im living in Czech Rep. Yep Špindleruv Mlýn is about the best and Harrachov which is nearby. They are about the biggest and well known Czech ski resorts, up near Liberec and Poland/Germany. Its cheaper then Austrian resorts Ive been to, English is widely spoken and Ive found the fellow skiers more courteous then in Tirolean resorts. I tend to only cross country/back country ski these days though, if thats anyones cup of tea good places are Nove Mesto na Morave(annual biathlon world champs held here) under an hour from Brno or Beskidy mountains north east near Ostrava with probably the wildest unspoilt nature in Czech Rep.
