Hi all,
We are thinking of going to the FIS giant slalom next year at Garmisch Has anyone been ?? Is there a shuttle bus to the Kandahar from the train station and if so,any ideas how much it is Also, does anyone know of a website we can register with to get updates on when tickets are available Cheers for any help DrT |

What is that about
In resort ski schools, snow domes, dry slopes et al insist on children wearing helmets yet most o the time the instructors don't wear a helmet themselves Is it only me that thinks this sends out the wrong message to kids - we don't need to wear a helmet when we are older cause our instructor doesn't See the thread about Skiplex to get the idea We all wear a helmet not only because I feel safer and the camera won't stick to my head LOL but also to send the message to our daughter that it is the norm I'm sure someone will have some thoughts on this |

Weird concept - you have to be a good skier to wear bright colours
Maybe I'm breaking all the rules - low inter with very bright clothing I also have a Marcel Hirscher helmet - not because I can ski like him but because I admire the way he skis and like the colours Bit like every fan in the crowd wearing a team shirt probably isn't a great player Bet I look like a right gaper on the slopes Oh well - I'm skiing |

Hi All,
Went to Snozone for some practice before a recent holiday and an instructor had board kids sat tightening their bindings in the middle of the slope there !!!!!! I had a go at him when a young skier nearly hit one of them !! No wonder they do it when out of the fridge. DrT |

Hi - Just booked with Crystal for Seefeld for next year.
Anyone know which ski school and ski hire shop they use ?? Just so I can get an idea where they are on the map. btw - any other info on the resort would also be good. Thanks in advance. Tom |
