Cheers for the info b4ndit- that gives me more confidence. It was just a bit depressing because there WAS about 50cm two weeks ago.....since then i've watched the brown patches grow! I'm sure it will be fine :? :lol:

We're going to Arinsal (i know some people don't rate it but it should be a nice easy start for the other half cos she's a dry sloper). There's skiing over 2000m so I'm reasonably confident that we'll be ok. I'd hate her first trip to be week of slush but I suppose it would still beat the dry slopes!
It seems that everywhere in Europe is warm at the moment but the optimist in me just keeps thinking that it will suddenly change and we'll get some massive dumps! Fingers crossed (for Saalbach as well tino!) |

I'm off to Andorra on 20th Dec- first time skiing in 10 years and my girlfriend has never ski'd so we're incredibly excited.
I've been watching the webcams for about the last month and it all looked so good a couple of weeks ago- now I'm biting my nails a bit! Just thought I'd register here, say hello and share my nervousness- hopefully someone on here will tell me that its still early so not to worry too much. BTW- i don't care how uninformed any future replies may be- just tell me not to worry.....please! :wink: |
