Hello,
I used some last week for the first time. Easy to put on and remove - and provided good traction, even when going up hills. They're brilliant. |

Hi,
I went to La Bresse Hohneck last year. I like it and plan to go again this year. I have only ever skiied in the Pyrenees and La Bresse - so I cannot compare it to the Alps. They're are plenty of pistes and should keep a good imtermediate skiier happy. |

Hi,
I have a pair of Rossignol boots which can be adjusted for bowlegedness, default foreward slant, and ease of forward flex (stiff/easy). I know these probably have proper technical terms ... but you know what I mean. Such adjustments are made by a small screw-tool thing. Does anyone know the correct term for this tool is? Is the tool standard across all boot brands, or do they differ? Also - do you know where I can get one? Ta. |

Hiya,
Can anyone recommend somewhere to get good/cheap thermal under-clothing suitable for skiing - ie keeps you warm and 'fresh'? I heard that Lidl were doing some last year, but I don't believe that's the case this year. Thanks. |

Hello - regarding Brantano and Clarks - are these people or shops? Why do you recommend them? Whereabout in London are they? Thanks. |

Thanks - but I was actually asking for a recommendation for a shop and person in London.

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a ski boot fitter in London please? I went to Snow & Rock and Ellis Brigham in High Street Ken. They both offer the same service - which looks ok. However, they two guys I spoke to seem a bit young. I would rather have someone who is a seasoned ski boot fitter to fit my boots. I'd appreciate a recommnedation for a shop and person. Many thanks. |

Hello,
Can anybody who has used the new Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre comment on the quality of the boots they provide? The reason I ask is I have tried Xscape in Milton Keynes a couple of times and their boots are awful (for me). I have skinny feet; their boots fit me length-wise, but even fully buckled up, I have the impression that I could pull my foot out of the boot without too much effort. (They tell me they only provide the one model of boot.) I don't have the same problem when hiring boots at proper ski resorts - so boots normally do fit me fine. I know I should get my own boots, but I don't want to right now. I don't really want to waste my time in Hemel Snow Centre if their boots are as poor as Xscape. Thanks. |
