No problem-there's an e-mail link to me on the web site. April's currently free but we have booked 2 weeks already!
Hi Chris,

2 more can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. We're off to the apartment in August and plan to buy another sofa bed, for the main bedroom, to give more flexibility-people could sleep there instead if they prefer.
Hi,

I have an apartment- see www.ownersdirect.co.uk/france/fr1457.htm
which will house half of your party. I have a colleague who has an apartment in the block next to mine who can house the other half.
Hi,

For accommodation try www.ownersdirect.co.uk. I advertise my property in France there but there are self-catering apartments all over the world (including ski apartments in Austria!).
You then organise transport and you're away, cutting out the travel agent.

p.s. my place is ref.FR1457

Excellent stuff,

Why is it just so much funnier when you wipe out? (And live).

Hi,

Lean forward, turn 180 deg then LEAN BACK to complete the turn. Keep your skis parallel.

This really does take some practice. To help you get round at first use a pole to push you round once you're half way. Obviously find a gentle slope. The easiest way to learn is on blades.
Snow chains

Hi,
I went to Les Arcs in January-lovely day when we arrived and I've never had any problems in the past as the local authorities clear the roads well. On the day we left we had a couple of feet of snow and the roads were recovered as quickly as the bulldozers could clear the fall-you couldn't have left the resort without chains.
Hire chains or buy them in the Geant hypermarket, Jct 27 of the N90 at Albertville on the way to the area. You'll need to make a note of your tyre size to buy the right ones.
