Just back from Corvara. Great spot and the on-piste snow is great. Off-piste is non-existent though.

Strange because that's exactly what I find myself doing to stay on my skis in light powder.

Memo to self: stop skiing with god and start skiing with ordinary mortals for a change...

Truth be told, I'm skidding on everything above blue. I just do more of it on blacks.

I try to carve my turns but end up skidding a lot (and tiring myself out quicker). How do I eliminate the skids and carve properly?

I'm at the stage where I can get down blacks in pretty much full control but I'm doing it slower than everybody else because I'm skidding while they carve.
