Great "Big Mountain" movie with plenty of wide, wild steeps being conquered at insane angles and velocities. A rockin' sound-track helps it all along, with quality camera work and a non-intrusive commentary to link the sections.
Highlights include skiing with the Army (being dropped off by a CH-53 - now [i]that's[i] heli-skiing!), an encounter with wildman Glenn Plake in reflective mood in the wilderness and some weird and wonderful descents - including the last run down in South Georgia (yes, the uninhabited island near the Falklands!). We saw it at the theatre when it came out last year and just picked up the DVD - and now it's playing on my PC while I'm typing this... yeah, those guys (and girls) rock... ...can't wait for the new one... anyone seen it yet?
