We are having a fantastic time this week in Val D'Isere and Tignes...The Snow Dance has worked to perfection...and more...!
In our party we have a good mixture of strong itermediates and a couple of 3rd week skiers....Sunday was Bluesky but we are now in for a week of Grey skies and powder....LOTS. What advice would you give for lens tints and good quality goggles as I think they will be very important over the next 4 days...Flat light seems to be the biggest problem and the girls have lost a bit of confidence... Snowflakes as big as saucers falling at the moment...! Gary |

Classic video Andy....On the 1st day of my second ski week ever i went down the lovely Santons Blue.....about an hour later i got to the bottom and nearly quit skiing...hope they get it open for our week....hopefully be able to handle it now...!
if 60 cms come down this week what % of runs do you think they will open up for the following week if weather is good? cheers Gary |

After 3 weeks of torture the wait is nearly over ....French weather experts are saying 50cms high up on Monday and then a lot more during the week.....The pressure has been on since i booked the week in Val d'isere in October...We fly 10.30am on Sat 10th...a week for 10 people....WIS ski champs on our 1st day might be a whiteout but.......!
Can only relax when the dump arrives monday night but they say there will be a dusting over the weekend just to make our advent callenders feel more festive.....! [b] |

North Cumbria on full stand-by for sunday x10 people.... Yesterday's 0 .7 metre forecast for Espace Killy over next week has dropped to 22cms overnight....joking aside the situation is now desperate for our trip to Val on 10 th dec.....going to buy some new hiking poles today as I won't need to spend 208 euro on a lift pass.... The snow dance is critical!

chalet in Le Cret...looks mega but good value..bit of a walk but bus stop near and La Daille Funival not far.
