Agree with all that's been said. Fantastic resort and I have been three times now and wouldn't hesitate to go back again!! I am still to hit the tunnel as every time I have been it's been closed due to adverse weather conditions, I will not rest until I have it ticked off.
I stayed in Oz once, fantastic little village and very picturesque, spent New Year 's Eve in the pub at the bottom of the ski lift. Best NYE I have ever had! |

Jesus christ you people need to take a look at what you are actually posting. A thread has been created to form an opinion of others regarding the decline of a snowsport and all you have done in MOAN about snowboarding like you own the mountains. To be honest you all have valid points regarding snowboarders sitting down to rest, I have never seen anyone on skis stop to rest in the middle of a run, or carve a decent run in to moguls because they are unable to control their speed correctly.
This is the problem with skiing and snowboarding, everyone seems to think they have a divine right to the mountain as if they own it. News flash you don't, so why not just enjoy your skiing experience like everyone else and stop the negativity towards other forms of sport just because you don't enjoy it/understand it. Also regarding the images of snowboarders sat under lifts in groups. Strong possibility they are sat at the top of a park run awaiting turn. If you check parks runs today you will find those piles of people are actually weighted towards skiers. Apologies (monday morning) rant over |

True, you struggle to get enough to check emails in some resorts :)

Yeh they file store on to SD cards so just take a bunch of them. Im sure i have read that the new ones can operate on cloud storage, obviously this would mean a decent internet signal for uplaoding once back at the hotel/chalet but could save on the need for loads of memory cards!!

As mentioned above find a pair you like the look of in shop and trawl the net for the best price then just purchase the extra lenses. I have a pair of anon which came with a reflective lens, I then purchased the low light lens from the same range, looked exactly the same just slightly more transparent.
Think my goggles were about £75 and the extra lens was £30 from memory. |

1. Whistler
2. Tignes 2. ADH Three excellent resorts all offering somehting different. Depending on holiday requirements the order could change, but if im honest i would be happy skiing in my back garden if we had enough snow :) |

Im the same as Tony, been to ADH twice and would defiantly go back, excellent ski area which caters to all abilities. I have never been to LDA, cant really say what puts me off but I would always pick another resort over it IMO. I could be very wrong but from what I have read/viewed it appears to be very linear in its layout which would explain the issues regarding busy runs on the homeward stretch.

Forgot to mention. First time i satyed was in a small village called Os En Osians which was fantastic. No matter on where you stayed the lift was max 10 min walk. Beautiful village and great bar for drinks.
