Already I think is becoming the same. I know young guys who used to board and now just ski (twin-tips), and some friends do both. See skis in the park is cool too now, and some boarders doing high mountain to.

Certainly possible to get started in 3 days, but learn? No. I ski 12 years already and I still learn every day on the mountains.

Does anyone know a good exercise to stop me skidding out of the last part of my turn? I've been told (by people who follow me) that I push out a spray of snow on the exit of each turn and my legs are always tired at the end of the day.
I try to lean back at the end of the turn but that doesn't feel right. Tx for any advice |

If all the glaciers melt (news recently) where we gonna ski in summer?
They even talk about the lift pylons being unsafe now even in winter, because of the ice melting! Ugh. Let's hope for a massive snow this winter. |

Has any falls of snow happened in the Alps yet? I mean not just on the glaciers of course!
