Can confirm that Tignes has had snow most days this week! Lots of powder around in the mornings!

We seem to be taking more clothes than when we ski in January/February! Thank goodness we are driving as with 4 sets of skis, boots, poles, helmets and then the rest the car is going to be full to the rafters!

We are staying in Val Claret. Never been before but everyone here says how great it is! All packed -just need to get through the next 2days of work and hope that the traffic isn't too bad! |

I am just a little excited - leave on Friday evening on the drive to Tignes! Just spoken to the ski school to see if I need to book classes for the kids and they told me it is snowing ( thught it was but nice to have it direct!) Now if it could just snow until Friday afternoon and then be clear and sunny I will be one happy girl!
Now I just have to finish the packing as I leave in the morning for an overnighter and as soon as I get back we are off! :lol: |

We are lucky in that Soldeu is "local" to us - this season we have spent 3 weekends there! We love it too! Great for the kids, love the fact that DH and DS can do a black, while DD and I do a blue but we can meet at the bottom!
Love the Italian restaurant at the top of El Tartar! Some of the mounain restauants are nt great but there are some gems! This season we have had all types of snow from fresh powder to slush but that is all part of the fun! Glad you enjoyed it! |
