Hi,
That's about right for the tolls. Save time by buying your ski passes online before you go- www.lesarcs.com/?lang=en click on glide then ski pass on the left hand side. Once you have the pass sent to you, in future years you just recharge online. |

Hi,
Loads of lifts so will be easy to get about-you're nearer Plagne Centre. |

Hi,
I've driven but wouldn't do it again in winter to be honest, even with 4 sharing the driving it's a really long way. I have a company car and certainly wouldn't put 1700 miles on the clock if I owned a car! It's fine in summer with a stopover each way. |

Hi,
I would hire a couple of estate cars, it's a doddle to drive from any of the airports and you can stop in Albertville on the way for provisions. Make sure you hire tyre chains, you probably won't need them but if you get a heavy snowfall you will be stuck (I know from experience ) Not sure if hire companies have minibuses, that would be ideal! It will take a couple of hours or so from any of the main airports. If you fly to Geneva (last choice) still travel via Chambery as it takes longer over the mountains) |

Do it!
Please feel free to ask for any advice you might need. |

Hi,
Prebook, we arrived one Sunday and everything was closed. Had a great time in the resort, the little bars are great, Erdingerbrau wheat beer each lunchtime! Plan your skiing as there are some tiring flat bits to avoid. |

Hi,
As per Crash and Burn, La Plagne and Les Arcs-I don't use anything but gondolas, cable-cars and chairs. I didn't see many buttons in the Three Valleys that I remember. I went to the Grand Motte in Tignes this summer and there were several buttons-I forgot what a pain they are, you get no rest on these types of lift! |

Hi,
I went to Tignes at the end of August for some summer skiing. It was Ok but there are mainly button lifts (I'm lazy and want chairs!) and cost 33€ for the "Day" 8am to 1pm. |
