Shamrock bar was about €6.5 for a Guinness/Kilkenny (not inc in happy hour) and Kronenberg was €4.5 during happy hour (5-6)

Vin chaud on the mountain varied €4-6
Water on mountain varied €3-6
Onion Soup €9-12

Lunch generally cost me about €15 - I know people will keel over at that esp Tony H and Wickers! :shock:

20 bottles of Kronenberg from trhe shop was €12, so driniking in did have its advantages. Apart from the fact that you dont meet lovely laaaadies ;)

my main criteria is altitude, this year I decided on Val Thorens to be safe given last season indifferent snowfall.
its a playoff- snow sure resorts or low tree lined runs
