Hi
I'm thinking of treating myself to a new pair of womens snowboard boots (I'm an intermediate rider). At present I have Northwave Dahlia boots (mid range flex rating 5) but think it's time for a change - a narrow fitting boot will be no good to me. Anyone have comments/recommendations on Burton boots? (I prefer the ones with the speed lacing system not the boa ones) Thanks in advance for any help. |

Hi all - I'm grateful for your comments.....I don't think I will bother taking anything after reading your replies...as you say not worth the hassle.
I suppose I didn't know what the prices would be like in the US supermarkets but if it's similar to our prices that's not so bad. Thank you :-) |

Just a quick but I'm sure possibly silly question.....Is it possible to take dried packets of food into North America. Myself and husband are going next week (self catering). Does anyone have any first hand knowledge on how strict security/customs are?
Thanks for any replies :) |

Hi All
I wonder if anyone can help me. I am off to Breckenridge, Colorado next month and would like to buy a new pair of ski trousers/pants. Would I be best off waiting to buy a pair when I get there as to buying them here before I go?...oh by the way, I do own a pair already, just fancied buying a different colour for a change as I always wear black ones. Thanks for your help :) |

Morning all - Can anyone recommend a good pair of warm, waterproof ski/snowboard mittens? (I suffer from really cold hands)
I look forward to any responses - thanks :) |

Hi - Has anybody got any experience of snowboarding in Breckenridge? Myself and hubby are thinking of going there for 2 weeks in mid March. I would say we are intermediate boarders and are not into half pipes etc and parks (due to age  !).
Thanks |

Hi - Can anyone suggest some companies I can look at to get reasonable ski holiday insurance for when I go boarding in the US. I normally have winter sports cover on my annual holiday policy but when I actually bothered to read the small print I realised that I wasn't really covered for much at all - thank goodness nothing has happened to me on the mountain! I am not looking for really expensive holiday insurance just something that will cover me if I have an accident.
Thanks :) :( |

Hi - Try Levi in Finland. There's only 1 chairlift the rest are drag lifts and 1 gondola. It's a good place for beginners too. :-)
