Hey all.
Just seen I joined this site back in January 2010. The first time I ever put on a pair of skis and was asking all those beginner questions. Glad to see the site is still going strong after all these years. I've now not been skiing for 5 years since 2019, thanks to that Covid and my daughter being born in 2020. Finally off again for a couple of days with the lads, back to the place I first put on a set of skis… Borovets Bulgaria. Fingers crossed it's improved abit since then, I always said I'd never go back. Right let me get to the question. Sorry to go on. My daughter is 3 in August. When age is the best to get children on the slopes learning to ski? I don't think I can go much longer without my full week of skiing. 3 days next month will just make me realise how much I've missed being on the slopes. Take care all. Ash |

That will be one of them idiots that give the rest of us a bad name. I'd just fly mine out of the way with not many people around.

Hey guys
Has anyone flown a drone in the French Alps or knows what the rule are around flying them on the pistes? Seems drones are getting abit of a bad name. Especially after Gatwick Gate. I make youtube videos and use the drone to make the videos more cinematic. Not to annoy people. I've had a look online also but there doesn't seem to be any set rules that I can see. |

Hmmm good idea. I'll give that a try. I called crystal ski yesterday and they wouldn't budge on the price.
I'm going to leave it very last minute I think and book a couple days before. Looking at Alpine Elements. They seem to be more flex on the 3rd person price. |

Ok thanks I'll have a look. We are planning on going somewhere in France. Open to any country and resort really as long as there is snow.
We always book with your operators because of the transfers to and from resort. I can see the flights are cheap but the transfers seem to cost a fortune. |

Hey guys.
Just wondering if anyone can help. Me and the Mrs been going skiing for a while now and have finally convinced someone to come along. I've been looking around for ideally a Chalet for the 3 of us. I expected to have an under occupancy charge as we would need 2 rooms but I didn't expect it to be a full price 4th place. As anyone come across this before? We are planning to go away week commencing the of 10th Feb. I thought the Chalet companies would be happy to take a 3 person booking as most of them still have plenty of rooms available. Any ideas? |
