Hi there, drove down to Notre Dame De Bellecombe at Xmas (near Megeve) about nine hours driving from the Chunnel with two drivers and not much stopping apart from refuelling. Went with "Peak retreats" google it, they arrange everything and are highly recommended by me.

Try Notre Dame De Bellecombe, went there this Xmas and it's a great place for skiing and scenery, relatively cheap as well ). If you get the "Espace Diamant" ski pass you will get to ski an enormous area of varied pistes. Stayed at "le village" have a look on the "Residhotel" site

Hi there, driving down to Notre Dame de Bellecombe next week. 8) wondering how long it's going to take from Calais, what to expect on the way down there and what the resorts like? :?:

Went to Bansko last xmas, it's not the prettiest ski resort but they have got snow cannons and nice, wide, safe pistes. Good off piste too. If you ski from the top of the mountain down to the village it's something like 16K  I would be amazed if you came back and said that you were dissapointed with the skiing. Foods not brill :(
