Hi

Does anyone know where we will be droped off in Belle Plagne when we are staying in Les Neriedes apts.

I have booked my ski passes but relise i have to collect them from the ski pass office. Does anyone know where that is in Belle Plagne and what time is is open till on saturday nights and what time it opens on sunday morning.

Have you tried looking at private accom as you dont need flights. Just put it in google.
You may find that you dont find anything with the big companies as they usually do not go from thurs
Failing that im sure you would find something when your out there if you dont mind taking a risk?

I agree maybe not Bulgaria - Bansko is good once your on the slopes but the Gondla wait is awful - to many people not enough lifts!
La Plagne is good - all abilities there are lots of different villages as well so can try different places, snow will be good then as well.
English school holidays are all over the place i think some will be off then but its a good idea just to put in google - the country your going to followed by school holidays...

I dont know anyone with direct ski insurance im afraid but the key things are to make sure they cover all injuries e.g. rescue, x-rays... and that they will give you money on ski days lost due to weather or injury. Also make sure that your ski hire is insured incase of damage.
In all make sure you are coverd for all eventualities!
Some of the ski companies have there own insurance it may be worth having a look.

i am not sure on that one but can recomend you look on the ski club of great Britain as they have snow histories if you havnt looked already

i always ski in april as tied to school hols. I havnt tried Austria before at that time in the year but have skiied in Val Thorens, France and La Plagne, France and both have been fine but anywhere is a risk late in the season.
I suggest anywhere high. Austria does tend to have very high prices as is popular and pretty.
France is good, not sure there will be much snow left in Italy but again no experiance.
Have a look on sights like:
travel supermarket for flights or if local airports are ok try flybe for cheaper flights.
Alternativly try the big companies e.g. crystal, i have booked late deals with them very cheap if you dont mind flying from London.
