Shut up Stewart.

I hope you have got plenty of bum padding, because you are going to be doing a lot of falling over.

I'm not sure he'll actually make the slopes Tony, for fear of total embarrassment.

That is rich coming from you Mr I have 2 Drinks and cant handle it so I will start drinking pop.

Heard you had a nice few falls on your last trip on the slopes, so I think you embarrassment will more significant than mine.

I had one fall, in awful conditions, 10 minutes into my first morning, as well you know!! And thats been it for about 9 holidays.

You have pm!

Sold them to a mad man in Birmingham for £100, and upgrading to Blizzard X Cross 10's now.

You've got "Tomba's Nemesis" to hand over 100 sheets?

Bloody good going mate as they only cost you 75. (only kidding Stu!!)

Does he get a free cushion for his soon-to-be- bruised backside?

I know VT was purpose built, but it certainly doesnt have the snob value you mention.

The carbuncle on the Maurienne landscape known as VT should, IMHO be used as target practice by all EU airforces :x

I raise you:

Boston, Lincs.

For more worthy of bombing practice.

Re-Raise

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs.

Although I think that's maybe why it looks like that already.

You have a good point, Tino.
However, I win, as I give you:

CORBY.

Night night.

Who said it was over :D I raise you, and offer......

SCUNTHORPE

Oh no. I win as I give you -

Scotland.

Though it does seem a little at odds with his comment on another thread (http://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/24/3021.page) when he said:
"... but as much as I like to try and look good at all times, I dont understand why you would go somewhere JUST to look good. It kind of defeats the object of a ski holiday to me!"

Which isn't his objective at all. He wants to ski first to last (and almost always does) and look as good as he can as well.

'sake. )
Race skis

I've got some GS9's and I have to say that I've enjoyed them. When I first got them I noticed they were fairly quick, although this could have been down to the bases being in pristine nick.

Since, though, I've wanted something far quicker and snappier as I can't get anything more out of them no matter how hard I try.

They're really not a race ski in my opinion, merely reasonably lively 100% piste ski with race graphics, if you like that sort of thing.

The Atomic GS12's and SL12's; now thats a different matter I believe. Still short of how a REAL race ski performs in the right hands (or on the right feet.)
