Ive just read that Hinterux is open all year round, is that a good place to snowboard and what will snow be like in summer months ?
I could be tempted to go there instead of a beach holiday |

Hi Snowcrazy, I was in Les Arcs beginning of Jan (seems like a lifetime now). How long have you got left of the season out there ? Wish I could go for 1 last week but cant afford it and have to work :(
I have enjoyed your posts you have written and pictures taken, keep up good work. Never know you may see me next year :) |

Hi, i don't actually like winter, what I like is the snow. It makes me feel like a kid again, its just good fun in the snow. As for taking risks, I don't really take any, but I do enjoy boarding down a steepish slope and the speed you can do certainly gets the adrenalin pumping.
The views are spectacular, the sun is out and the air is fresh, what more could you ask for ? |

I have been to both, they are both big ski areas but I preferred les arcs and you have la plagne on hand as well, another good resort to ski.
in the 3 valleys you have meribel, val thorens (high up) and courchevel (expensive) and of course down low you have la Tania. I reckon you would have fun whichever resort you pick. |
