We lived in Cyprus for a short while when I was 8 maybe 9, I recall the lifts being open occasionally but most days they were shut either through lack of snow or the road was shut.

Recall skiing in the morning and playing naked on the beach in the afternoon although it wasn't all that warm.

How loudly you can complain about Ryan Air surely depends on the price you pay. Regularly go to Portugal where my parents now live and RA are often a third of the price of EJ. Last time some jobs worth was checking hand luggage sizes but most staff are reasonable.

I have seen police men on skis in resorts in Italy and Poland, (what a great job, do they have summer off?) in Poland I have seen people pulled up for going off the designated pisted run but never seen anyone fined.

So wondering if anyone has ever been fined, if so how much.
