hi, ive just booked to go to hippach in jan. not been there before , but been to mayrhofen 4 times. the brouchure said it was in mayrhofen . so didn`t find out it wasn`t until i got home . not to worried about that . looking for a quieter hol tham mayrhofen anyway. just would like some info before we go . is it easy to access the slopes ? is it easy to get the train to other areas like zell and kaltenbach. when we have stayed in mayrhofen we skied away most day useing the train. also im going with my wife this year as opposed to a group of mates and she hasn`s skied for 11 years so is there a spa in hippach for a day off if she needs it or do we have to travel to mayrhofen? we`re staying at the guesthouse nill if anyone has stayed there , anygood? though not much we can do now. any info would be great. tim :thumbup:

the best bars are scotland yard and the sports bar in the strass hotel. last year the was a singer in the sports bar who was very good and he was there 9 years ago when i first went . also there is a bar on the right as you walk up the main street that was good . dont know the name but it was tooked away down the side of a building and quite hard to spot. they had a happy hour from 8.30 - 10pm $2 a beer. also mo`s is ok.

:thumbup: that`ll be me then :D . 1 sleep (well 1/2 ) getting picked up at 3.30 in the morning :shock:. flight at 6.10 from mancester. all packed, bags weighed. time for a bath and an early night i think. |

most of my mate enjoy a few beers whilst on the slopes. personaly i dont prefer to have coffee . i wait til im back in resort. bit of a lightweight anyway :shock:

done the same myself today. i do alot of cycling but not done much over the last few weeks. decided to go for a spin this morning and hit a patch of ice on a downhill bend and came off. hit the deck and slid down the road . my shoulder really hurts and i thought it was broken at first. flying out to mayrhofen on sat so ive got a week to get it right. :cry:
