I've skied Morzine & Paradiski. Personally I would plump for Paradiski. Both areas have plenty of skiing - although I think Paradiski is better. I don't really like the Morzine area - (Avoriaz etc -found them too busy and protracted to get to the skiing areas themselves.. also tainted by bad seasons- it rained both times when I've been which makes my opinion slightly biased as this year there seems to be plenty of snow everywhere). From memory the Bellecote & Plagne Centre are concrete type- the rest has been quite nicely built.

Have been on 6 CM ski holidays. Food always good. Staff work tirelessly - I have 3 children - and felt safe and secure in the environment. Also like the fact that if you do join the lessons/guiding the teacher will have a walkie talkie so if anything happens to your children they can get to you! Secure in the fact that I didn't ever have to rush back down the mountain from my lesson knowing my kids were in safe hands. Letting them be 'free' in the hotel to make friends. no money needed ever (apart from buying the children's achievement badges)... all drinks all food ski pass lessons transfers flights... job done!

3V Cheap Lunch!

I am planning on getting pack lunches from my chalet this year.. .anyone know where to picnic in the 3Vs.. we are based in La tania and hope to head all over the area?
I think about height first and foremost - especially with the seasons as they have been over the last 10 years, and preferably an area with a glacier that is used in the summer.

I then think of links - ie loads of runs to chose with links to other resorts -ie big ski areas - such as 3 valley, Espace Killy & Paradiski.

Don't like big towns that are spread out - ie Chamonix.

Ideally no cars -(Saas fee)

Then distance to airports - normally Geneva for me.

the other factors are just cherries on the top... ie high speed lifts/restaurants etc.

There my twopenneth :)

taken from the CM website:-

At this age, they're no longer babies, but they still need close supervision

It's the age of first discoveries, so Petit Club Med proposes early learning activities, walks and outdoor games; a well-balanced lunch devised specially for the needs of growing children followed by a nap or quiet time, creative activities, and of course tea time, always a favourite moment of the day!

The activities follow the children's progress, divided into age groups. From 7.30 pm, after dinner with their parents, they go back to the Petit Club Med®. While parents enjoy a quiet dinner, the children can enjoy their own evening with their friends.

For information:
The adult accompanying the child must be able to show that he or she meets the minimum vaccination requirements for children (child health record or medical certificate).
Nappies and baby milk are not provided by Petit Club Med®.

"Learn to ski and the pleasures of snow" course
Optional Extra*
3 year olds can take their first official French skiing diplima at Petit Club Med*, and get their "Piou-Piou" medal.
For information, rental of "children's kit" ski equipment.
