only been there for one day,so no in depth report.
there were a lot of easy runs lower down, just a couple of steeper slopes at the top.most of the hotels and bars seemed to be along the main road which runs through the resort.
most of the lifts and pistes start and end along this road.
it is linked into the milky way system, which is quite extensive.

a good choice for a family holiday.
let us know how you get on.
you can ski to lech via the madloch lift then skiing down to zug on an off piste route type of run,it is well skied so it is more like a normal piste than an op route.then from zug 1 lift takes into the lech system.

to get back to zurs you need to ski to lech village and then catch the rufikopf cable car which takes you back into the zurs area.they call it the white ring,it can only be done clockwise.

to ski st anton you need to take the bus to stuben or further on to rauz, only about 10 minutes away .bus not included on lift pass but only about 3 or 4 euros.

hope that helps ,you wont be disappointed its a fantastic area one of my favourites.

argentiere will still be open then, with its altitude and north facing slopes the conditions should be still good.
Cervinia last week in March

been to cervinia mid march, and your right about the cold, which is more down to the strong winds the resort receives.if you ski over the top into zermatt the wind drops dramatically, also the views are so much better and the skiing is more challenging.

cervinia has some great long and wide cruising runs.
not sure about non skiing activities.
there is a large nursery area in the centre of the village.

all in all a decent resort with the advantage of skiing zermatt on the cheap.
