Ski lessons in the UK
Started by User in Beginning Skiing, 5 Replies
lots of the snowdomes do one day beginner courses. They are really worthwhile and whilst its not "proper" snow its far superior to dry slope lessons. My advice....take a full day course. (my granddaughter has just done the childrens beginner course and progressed fabulously)
Due to a cancellation I have a room for two available for The Grohmann Hotel, Val Di Fassa, in the Sella Ronda Italy leaving on the 8th January 2022. The trip includes flights, twin room, half board, lift passes, ski hire/carriage from Bristol but could probably be changed to Gatwick, Manchester or Birmingham. Cost is £859.

The Sella Ronda offers 1200kms of skiing in a beautiful backdrop of pink mountains.

If interested please message me ASAP as I have to fill the places by 26th November.

If you are experienced you may find it a bit limited even if the more diffiCult area at Ponte Di Lengo are still open. Skiing on both sides on the valley. The Presenda Glacier is good but small and the black down is nice. Total ski area is I think about 90 kms so a decent skier will ski it out in 2 days. Its pretty snow sure though.
We are a group of 8 plus from all over the UK who would like to upsize. We are planning our next trip w/c 11th jan and would welcome and single skiers/boarders to join us.

We are a mixed group of mostly of men but ladies are very welcome. You must be willing to share a room with same sex person and be up for a giggle, drink and we tend to get out early, so long days out from first to last lift. Ideally like the odd drink, but we dont go too mad....well most of the time: . Age group is from 20 to 69 so no excuses. Learners most welcome.

We are looking to go to Italy, Austria or Switzerland this year and our budget for flights and half-board is £750 plus LP and extras. Prob flying from London or Manchester but as yet its early days and depends on prices.

PM me if interested
