Puzzling question - why would climate change affect this?
Does warm weather affect the internet? Is it too hot for the telephones, too wet for travel agents?

Why have pancakes on a day when people tell you to?

Its nearly as bad as telling your wife you love her on valentines day, because you're SUPPOSED to.

How many people actually know the origins of SHROVE TUESDAY (aka Pancake Day)?
How many people who eat pancakes on Shrive Tuesday are actually religious and understand the true meaning of it (Lent)?

Some saddos think Lent is just about trying to lose weight

Are they as effective at pushing the pole out of your hand when you fall in the way having the straps under your thumb is??
Salapets

Salopettes take more of a bashing than a jacket - get nicked by your edges, the boot zips get bashed and take a bit of a pounding when you wipe out at speed. Wouldn't advocate paying big bucks for them for this reason.
Jackets take less trauma so by all means buy one you like assuming it's breathable, waterproof and warm enough.

look a the stuff is it made from goretex or other heavy duty waterpfoof beathable material. Are the seams taped. If it says snow proof - interpret that as meaning it won't let frozen water through but when it melts you're going to get wet! Are the zips robust?

Beyond a certain price you are paying for a brand label rather than better function. I know some of you will have convinced yourselves that your overpriced Spider gear has to be better (presumably because it has a thousand and one seams to let the rain in) because it cost more or that your hyperpriced Kjuss gear is wonderful because it looks like a 1970's East German track suite.

Incidentally I heard that the relaunched Nevica brand is owned by the same manufacuter as Keilly.
I'd have though the message should have been "Don't ski into a tree!"
Get married in the summer so you don't have to compromise the ski season? Also you could do Australia - a week in the sun and then head south for some skiing?
None are alarming - just go for any of them.

Isn't Goulash soup Hungarian?

We call it Hungarian Goulash but Austria & Hungary once the same country/empire?

We had to bring back some frozen germknodle for my daughter's boyfriend he so enraptured with them. Not convinced myself.
