ha ha, this is great !! 72% was what i was told at the time but i had only been skiing for 3 days so i knew nothing really. my point was really meant to be that it is not as bad as ppl say.
I'd like to see it again if i go back as i'm sure i would think it was pretty tame now. I was also told that it was the steepest piste in austria... but i know i have done steeper. I'm glad that it has caused debate.... but the question is why has Mr_Mayrhofen not skied it.... surely you must have skied every piste there a million times..... |

The HK is pretty hairy, 72 degrees or sommit. but if you are a fair skier, no prob. I learnt to ski at MH and done the HK in first week - albeit 1/3rd on my arse :)
It's fairly short tho. dont do it when sheet ice tho!! Tony_H... you have been to MH something like 7 trillion times and not at least done the HK !! lol. Surely there wasn't an air ambulance there EVERY TIME... You have mentioned fresh snow at MH loads of times, so you should have done it by now. Maybe this year you will pluck up th courage ) your other post mentions handling the terrain..... maye you cant!! |

Is this the rudest response ever, Tomy_H ?? you are a bit blunt here. he offerred you an option (albeit that you did say you had booked) but other may be interested. Perhaps you should try it rather than your 8th time at Maryhofen. La Clusaz is a nifty little resort actually... better than MH. I STIL cant wait for your magazine............ :D |

Eh??!! what chip? Nope, just that you were simply asking a stupid question - par for the course I guess! |
