Just to echo the comments of previous posts - we stayed in Filzmoos this year - really pretty - great runs - good for beginners; went to Flachau on skibus (20 mins)

Flachau might be a good bet to stay in - - excellent lift systems - lots of lovely wide open runs - from Flachau (and Flauchauwinkl 5 mins on Ski bus) you can ski into other villages and then go up again - so no need to spend a lot of time on the bus.

Flauchau had some nice nursery/easy areas near the top.

Filzmoos was beautiful village with lots of character.
