Very well put comment. After 2 years I am definitly a type B but having said that I have no desire to fly down steep slopes. I love the long winding steady downhill runs and dont like going fast.
There is nothing wrong with being a type B, it is more about enjoying what you are doing. I relate a type B here to a low intermediate Respect |

Fairly new to skiing and have been to Borovets, Bulgaria for the last 2 years. Don't want to go there again as it's dirty, runs are limited and dodgy Bulgarians are forever trying to rip you off. Also the resort controllers 'Borosport' is in the pocket of the local mafia so profits (which must be substantial judging by the 2 fold increases in prices since last year) are creamed and not reinvested in any meaningful way.
Can anyone make any useful suggestions on skiing in Central Europe? I am a recreational skier from the UK and am looking (aren't we all)for decent snow, a reasonably priced resort and not too far from the airport. I'm not into challanging downhill stuff but like really long steady senic runs. I think they call it ski surfing!!!! Any suggestions appreciated Thank You |
