I see you are in the france forum but if its good nightlife and scenic skiing the i suggest you head to Austria? Probably Saabach/hinterglemm good for mixed groups, lots to do on and off the slopes and plenty snow at present, wild apres ski. not sure as to the logic in going all the way to Banff for your first ski hols when europe is so good this year. good luck
