I've been on the train a couple of times. They're not strict about the drink as long as you don't get blind drunk (as a couple of the passengers were).

The survey does somewhat assume that the skiier has experienced a decline in snow/ warming....

P.S. do you think will I get away without hiring snow chains, never normally need them this late?

Looks great. I'm coming to 1800 on Saturday (13th April), looks like there'll be loads of snow!? Is it good enough to make it worthwhile buying a Paradiski pass to La Plagne? In past years it's been too patchy coming to the Transarc.....

Avoid Paris at all cost. Follow signs for Lyon. When you get near the resort follow local signs and not your satnav . Shortcuts can often be a bit scary on mountain roads.
