Pete I mightve got myself carried away - looking at the forecast yesterday it said sleet/snow for tues/wed/thurs and as Im going on sunday anything snowlike with low temps is better than what they had a couple of weeks ago when the resort was shut Ill take anything white even if a dusting!! looking at the forecast today it says sleet all nxt week which might not be so good as sleet will melt the snow on the pistes wont it? Anyway Im trying to be really positive and will the snow to arrive in a huge great big dump on every night next week - it can be sunny in the day if it wishes bot snow all night snowdancing all the time might also help!

 yipeeeeeeeeeee we are off to les gets on sunday am and im a happy chappy looking at the forecast just hope it pans out or even better!! how chiffed Im dancing big time for snow snow and more snow!
Hope you have a great time - My OH and I went for 1st time last yr and found the dry slope lessons were really beneficial we progressed really quickly to parallel skiing on blues hopefully youll get a nice easy on the eye instructor as well (im sure thats why I did everything he said!) one piece of advice is make sure you have a piste map on you when you venture off on your own and if possible get walkie talkies to talk to each other people in your party rather than use mobiles as they can get quite expensive - other than that Have a fab time :D
pete Im dancing like you wouldnt believe - ive just spoke to my dr who went out 3 wks ago when very little was open and he reckons despite the lack of runs open the few that were open were ski able and very quiet the resort sounds lovely too - we are off on sunday - oh yes sharon told me that they are offering 10% off local les gets passes and may offer even more by the end of this week due to the warmer conditions and expecting to close a few more pistes She definately the woman in the know and has been extremely helpfull to me with loads of info. Anyway hope they dont close the resort (Again) and that we get some lovely cold weather and lots of the white stuff
oh I do hope so Im dancing my socks off!
is it just me being pessimistic or is the snow going to melt next week with the warmer weather approaching yet again - off to les gets 4/2/07 nice and snowy (at last) this week but will bound to disappear by the time we arrive .Can everyone please do a snow dance for all their resorts - incl les gets. Makes you think about global warming doesnt it
