Wow! Wish I could teleport there right now.
Boot warmers....which brand?

Bad circulation will definitely not help. A friend swears by thermic bootwarmers.
Making sure you start warm and dry helps, sounds obvious but easily overlooked if you wear ski socks in trainers to the hill and then get changed the chances are your socks are not dry when you put them in cold boots. I find that filling a couple of water bottles from the kettle and putting them in my boots with my ski socks used as stoppers on the way to the hill means I start the day dry and toasty, it is far easier to stay warm rather than get warm.
Boot gloves are a useful addition, if you've not come across them they are made of neoprene and go over your boot like double glazing for feet. I bought mine in Canada but you can find them easily by using google. Again put them on while you, your socks and boots are dry and warm.
Probably my favourite resort, this will be a real boon, snowboarders often complain about the amount of T-bars, this should help.
I joined up with another girl on here back in February, we had a great time.

We used Oxygene, had an Italian guy called Roberto, who spoke very good English, we had the benefit of a very small group for lessons and progressed big time. I took a private lesson one afternoon and it was worth every penny.

If the weather is on your side then there are no bad runs! Loved VDI but found it sooo expensive. Explore explore explore! General rule of thumb better food and lower prices in the more secluded spots. We didn't eat anywhere twice as there is plenty to do/see. If any of your party are less than confident do be aware that the piste map grading appears to bear no resemblance to the level of difficulty. Beginners/early/timid intermediates could have their confidence shattered very easily if they rely on the grading given on the map, would seriously suggest a lesson at least first day so they could get an insight from a professional as to where would provide the most fun and safer skiing for them, don't be surprised if it is suggested that they download via a lift at the end of the day. The runs to the valley can be seriously busy/cut up after lunch.
I can't suggest any must do runs as my head is a sieve with regard names/numbers! Sorry x

I was leaning towards Lech/Zurs but Price is a factor when we book hence Pas and Sestriere.
Interesting about Amade as there doesnt seem to be many reviews about it but it is listed as one off the biggest ski areas ??? are they all linked??
You would probably get the most out of the amade area if you had a car so you could choose a diff starting point each day without having to attempt the buses (which do run to time) between bases. The linking is good but impossible (IMHO) to get from one end to the other in a day and be able to enjoy exploring the areas whilst your at it. Nicer to choose a few areas to start at during the course of a week and explore their neighbouring links at a leisurely pace.

If your not too bothered about having a massive après scene you might like Maria alm. Largely blues and reds, linked to 3 other small villages, cheap in comparison to a lot of larger areas. One of the quietest areas I've been to regarding lift queues. We went late January last year and could not have designed better conditions. We were knee deep in the soft and fluffy stuff 4/6 days.
Short transfer from Salzburg. Get in touch with their tourist board for info regarding hotels/pensions that are happy to accept part week bookings. I don't think any of the major Brit TO's go there any more.
