My wife and I have found a flight from Cork to Munich. 5 day round trip, max 3 days skiing, 1st week of December 2012. We are good intermediate skiers. 35 - 40 years old. We Like good restuarants & bars, Ski in Ski out would be desireable, Mayrhofen or Kitzbuhel????? Open to suggestions!!!! |

Looking to spend a few days skiing in Austria mid November. Somewhere 1-2 hours drive from Munich. We've been to Kaprun many times and really enjoyed it.

Would like a tour guide (skier) to show us around on Tuesday 10th April, anyone available/interested or can recommend someone??? what is a fair fee for a half day or a full day???? Recently while skiing in Colorado, many people had video cameras mounted on the top of their 'safety helmets'. Are these available to rent in 'Val Thorens' or is it more typical that they are privately owned??? where can they be purchased and what is the 'ballpark' price??? Cannot wait 'till monday 9th April!!! |

hi there,
heading to val thorens on Monday next. Just wondering if it is necessary to bring the usual ski parka or would i be better off with a few layers and a sleeveless puffer/vest. I think I'll leave the usual warm gloves also and opt for a lighter pair. Its our first time skiing so late in the season. Appreciate your thoughts. |
