Yeah, Stade Descente is great too. Jockeys seems to have had problems for a while now. The last time I remember skiing it was on a powder day in January 2010.

Agreed. You can't go wrong in Courchevel at all. Some of my favourites are Roc Merlet into Roc Mungier and Park City in 1850 (also reachable from La Vizelle) and Indiens (via the Prameruel chair) coming into 1650. Also, try Lanches into Folyéres from the top of the Cretes lift, heading into La Tania, for a full-on blast. If you hit it on a good day, it's epic! I'm not jealous at all. Nope, not me  |

Erm, I beg to differ. The Verdons blue run accessible from La Plagne centre is incredibly yellow (or it certainly was on Sunday, 13 March). A lot of the runs in La Plagne in general are showing bare patches with rocks and stones visable. And there are even warning signs varying from thin snow cover to Earth. |

Pauljames - see you on the slopes of Les 3 Vallées!
10.05am departure for me - assuming all's OK, naturally. La Tania, look out :-) |

For me it means once a year, I get to spend seven days in the company of my closest friends doing something exilharating, zipping about the pistes and then re-living the day's accomplishments over several well earned beers. And then doing it all again the next day...
Good company, great scenery and awesome fun in one neat package. Winter cannot come around quick enough for me year-on-year! :-) Thankfully, my wait ends tomorrow at Gatwick  |
