Tony pants has finally booked, going on 16 th feb to Arinsal however there was no mercy shown by the tour ops for me having to book at half term.

Have a good one BB, my daughter asnd her boyfriend are leaving in and hour to go to Luton, flying out 6am to Geneva and then on to Tugnes in the morning. Not Jealous at all |

Ouch, hope all is well Mrs TH and the toe isn't giving too much pain. I have a similar issue as Mrs P is unable to ski until Feb and she said lets go anyway at Christmas, I ski and Mrs P reads a book but as you say in her heart of hearts she is really saying that for my benefit. well the car thing works on my side as I run a BMW sales department so I can take an X5 fuel paid for by company in UK, just got to fill up at folkestone, just done that on way to Disney. That then reduces costs a little.
TBF the cost really isn't the issue ( although the cost of flying is !) as Comfort is banked in the X5, the real issue is the drive back after only 3 days skiing, is it worth it. That is the quandary. I really want to play the drive game but I will pay the same for 5 days at Christmas with 2.5 days travelling as I will for a weeks package deal in peak time Feb flying. mmmmmmmm |

Bugger, that article has started me considering it again, can someone tell me I am mad to drive for a 5 day trip with 2 adults and one child so I can put it to bed in my own mind, Or am I ???? TP |
