Persimmon won The Derby in 1896!
G'day

I can't help but I'm quite envious. I had a summers holiday in Sankt Johan and it's beautiful.

We went biking down Alpendorf, went to Zell am See by train and cycled there.

You can't beat Austria.

Hi

Lexiloo ~ how about locking 2 or more pairs of skis together with the lock going around the middle of the bindings. Not easy pinching more than one pair of skis at a time I would have thought.

Should work unless someone is bombing round the mountain with some bolt cutters.

It's best to lock them up with skis belonging to people you know!

Ye haaaaaaa. It 's gettting closer!

Thankyou. I will do as you say. I intend to do some work on my skiing this winter, rather than just bombing round the mountain.

No. No skis involved in this analysis. Just this machine which tells you where your weight is distributed and a plumb line!

Up until now I've hired skis. However, I've just bought my first skis which are Rossi Z5.
Courchevel does look good. I'll add it to my list for 2013.

Corvara, in the Sella Rhonda, in the Dolomites has just come to mind. Full of lovely blues, and you've got the historic Hidden Valley nearby, if you can find it, and plenty of skiing for the more experienced skiers nearby, such as Val Gardena.

I might have had this stance analysis done. I went to Profeet in Fulham. None of the boots were as good as my old ones so I stuck with them, but I have got moulded insoles now and they gave me the heel lifts.

I did have aload of printed out stuff, colourful stuff which showed where my weight is/was, in Fulham if not up an Alp. All very clever, but not much use, I thought.

Has anyone been to the UK Ski Test Tour? They do a boot check up. Is it any good does anyone know?

Hi Acarr

Yes that's what I came up with but Simondorras was asking for a resort with easy green runs.

Bandit suggested Megeve and BKK. If you look up the resorts on J2ski Megeve looks brilliant, but BKK ~ 2 blue runs and the rest are red and black. So I wonder if BKK is actually somewhere else.

I'm quite interested in this topic as I go with some terribly nervous skiers who need some really gentle runs to enjoy themselves and not something that will put them off for ever! Also, they tend to get stuck on one run which they are happy with when they could be travelling miles aroudn the mountain, seeing beautiful sights, experiencing different pit stops and gainning confidence (which is what's holding them back).
